sold, brokered, and financed businesses. Therefore, we can very
closely relate to your interests regarding the divestiture or
acquisition of a business. The professionals at Houston Business
Brokers organize the entire selling/buying process, while allowing
the business owner or buyer to concentrate on operating his/her
current interests. Houston Business Brokers coordinates the efforts
of the other professionals involved in the sale, as well as provide
the guidance needed to successfully close the sale.
All
representation assignments are treated with utmost confidentiality
and professionalism. We do not disclose confidential information
without signed statements of confidentiality (Non-Disclosure
Agreements). Full documentation disclosure must be preceded by
financial statements being provided by all interested, potential
buyers. There are no exceptions.
In
short, our full-service representation is based on the industry
norm scale and we are very open, forthright, and upfront about
our compensation terms. Seller and Buyer representation fees
are both based on the following:
- Success
fees based on the industry standard Lehman Scale (see below)
- Pre-sale
planning, due diligence, and preparation fee (as determined)
- All
incurred expenses related to marketing paid by Seller as incurred
(billed weekly)

of our client-broker relationships include a mutually agreed
upon plan of marketing (which is developed prior to the actual
marketing process) which fully benefits from our large-scale
marketing ability. Further details regarding this will be discussed
upon the final agreement to proceed with the client-broker relationship.
